Dig Dug II: Trouble in Paradise is an overhead action game developed by Namco and published by Bandai for the NES, ported from the 1985 arcade sequel to Dig Dug. Taizo Hori battles Pookas and Fygars across tropical islands, using an air pump to inflate and pop enemies and a jackhammer to crack fault lines — sinking whole island sections into the sea to drown them.
