Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is a first-person shooter developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim for the Nintendo 64, the first game in the series and an early console FPS landmark. As the warrior Turok, players explore jungle and ruin levels, fighting dinosaurs and enemy soldiers with weapons from a bow to the Chronoscepter. It’s known for its arsenal, exploration, and (then-innovative) distance fog.
