Section Z is a side-scrolling shooter developed and published by Capcom for the NES, loosely based on the 1985 arcade game. Players pilot a jetpack-equipped space ranger through the branching corridors of the alien fortress Balangool — flipping their aim between left and right, collecting power-ups, and destroying generators — to reach Section Z and destroy the supercomputer L-Brain.
