Airwolf is a pseudo-3D flight shooter developed by Beam Software and published by Acclaim for the NES, based on the 1980s TV series. From a first-person cockpit view, players pilot the Airwolf helicopter as Stringfellow Hawke across many missions, rescuing hostages and destroying enemy bases while managing fuel and ammunition with a machine gun, missiles, and a screen-clearing nuke.
