3-D WorldRunner (The 3-D Battles of WorldRunner) is a third-person forward-scrolling rail shooter and platformer developed by Square and published by Acclaim for the NES — Square’s first game released in North America. Players control space cowboy Jack, running “into” the screen across eight alien worlds, jumping pits and columns and firing at Serpentbeasts. It includes an optional anaglyph 3D mode.
