Yoshi’s Island DS is a side-scrolling platformer developed by Artoon and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS, a sequel to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. Yoshi carries babies — Mario, Peach, DK, Wario, and Bowser — each granting different abilities, flutter-jumping and throwing eggs across levels spanning both screens. It keeps the series’ hand-drawn style, puzzle-platforming, and collectible-hunting.
