Ubisoft reported 3.5 million copies of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced sold-in within 14 days of its July 9, 2026 launch. The publisher said that total already beat its expectations for the full year.

In its July 23 sales release, Ubisoft said Resynced shows it can use proven catalog brands through remakes to reach new players. Its R&D outlays sit beside other publishers’ in these game development cost statistics.

The remake of 2013’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag scored 84 on OpenCritic and Metacritic, per Ubisoft. It launched on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Ubisoft+.
