After Iggy’s castle, continue North to Donut Plains 1. Donut Plains 1 is our first red-dotted level on the map. If you notice, until now, the levels have been yellow dots. Donut Plains 1 is also our first introduction to the cape! Master the cape and this game will be a breeze. Still extremely fun, but a lot easier. The cape and Yoshi that is.
Red-dotted levels don’t notate that the level is harder. They notate that the level has two different ways of being completed. There is a normal way and a secret way to complete these levels. The secret way includes finding a key.
In order to fully beat the game, with everything unlocked, you will need to beat the red levels the normal way and the secret way.
Also, if you want to sett he rest of the exclamation marks or switches free, like the yellow switch, you will need to find the secret ways of beating levels.
