Mega Man is a side-scrolling action-platformer developed and published by Capcom for the NES, the first entry in the series. Players choose six Robot Master stages in any order, defeating each boss to gain its weapon, then storm Dr. Wily’s fortress. It established the series’ stage-select and weapon-copying formula, though this first game offers no password save.
