Mega Man 2 is a side-scrolling action-platformer developed and published by Capcom for the NES, the second entry in the series and its best-selling installment. Players clear eight Robot Master stages in any order, gaining each boss’s weapon, then storm Dr. Wily’s fortress. It introduced energy-refilling E-Tanks and a password system to continue progress.
