RoboCop 2 is a side-scrolling run-and-gun platform shooter developed by Special FX and Ocean Software and published by Data East for the NES, based on the 1990 film. RoboCop fights the spread of the drug Nuke and gang leader Cain, shooting enemies while destroying drug canisters and arresting a quota of criminals in each level to advance, ending in a boss fight against Cain.
