NARC is a side-scrolling run-and-gun game, ported to the NES by Rare and published by Acclaim from Williams’ 1988 arcade hit. One or two players control N.A.R.C. narcotics officers Max Force and Hit Man, blasting and busting drug dealers, seizing drugs and cash across nine urban levels, and taking down the kingpin Mr. Big with machine guns and rockets. The NES version was billed as an anti-drug game.
