Samurai Shodown V Special is a 2004 weapon-based 2D fighting game developed by Yuki Enterprise and published by SNK Playmore. It is the ninth entry in the Samurai Shodown series and the last officially licensed game released for the Neo Geo hardware. The roster includes 28 characters, including returning series bosses. Core gameplay uses one-hit-capable weapon slashes, a Rage Explosion system, and a Concentration (Issen) gauge for slow-motion finishing strikes.
