Metal Slug X is a run-and-gun arcade game developed and published by SNK for the Neo Geo arcade (MVS) and home (AES) systems. It is an enhanced version of Metal Slug 2, rebuilt on the Metal Slug 3 engine to cut slowdown, with new weapons, enemies, revised boss placements, and altered stage times of day.
