The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning is an action-platformer developed by Amaze Entertainment and published by Sierra Entertainment for the Nintendo DS, the first game in the rebooted Legend of Spyro trilogy. Players guide a young Spyro through 2.5D levels, discovering elemental breath powers, melee-attacking enemies, and gliding across platforming challenges and bosses. The DS version uses touch controls for special moves.
