NFL Blitz 2001 is an arcade American football game developed and published by Midway for the Nintendo 64, part of the NFL Blitz series. It plays fast 7-on-7 football with exaggerated hits, late tackles, on-fire streaks, and no penalties for roughness. NFL and NFLPA licensed with real teams and players, it adds a franchise-style season and tournament modes, and supports up to four players.
