About Dead by Daylight

Behaviour Interactive released Dead by Daylight on 14 June 2016. It is an asymmetric survival horror game where one killer hunts four survivors.

Survivors repair five generators to power the exit gates and escape. The killer chases, downs and hooks them before that happens.

Modes include public matches, Custom Games and rotating limited-time events. Licensed chapters bring in characters from Halloween, Resident Evil and Stranger Things.

Progression runs through Bloodpoints spent on the Bloodweb, plus prestige levels that unlock teachable perks. Cross-play links PC and console accounts. Social deduction fans often pair it with Among Us.
