F-Zero: GP Legend is a futuristic racing game for the Game Boy Advance, developed by Suzak and published by Nintendo. It ties in with the anime of the same name, adding a story mode alongside Grand Prix racing. Machines have an energy meter that doubles as health and boost fuel, and tracks are filled with jump plates, dash plates, rumble strips, and mines.

Accelerate. Holding it for the right length of time during the countdown gives a boost start, and releasing then pressing it again quickly also produces a boost
