Altered Beast: Guardian of the Realms is a side-scrolling beat ’em up for the Game Boy Advance, developed by 3d6 Games and published by THQ in North America and Sega in Europe. A sequel to Sega’s 1988 arcade game, it casts the player as a Guardian revived by Zeus to stop Arcanon, with hack-and-slash combat, beast transformations, and destructible environments.
