Metal Slug (subtitled Super Vehicle-001) is a run-and-gun arcade game developed by Nazca Corporation and published by SNK for the Neo Geo arcade (MVS) and home (AES) systems. The first series entry, it has players control Marco and Tarma against General Morden’s Rebel Army across six missions — on foot or in the SV-001 tank — rescuing POWs for weapons and bonuses. It supports two-player co-op.
