North & South is a combined strategy-action game developed by Infogrames and ported to the NES by Kemco. Based on the Belgian comic Les Tuniques Bleues, it recreates the American Civil War: players move Union or Confederate armies across a turn-based US map, then fight real-time side-view battles with infantry, cavalry, and artillery, plus platform-style fort and train raids. It supports two players.
