Tetris is a falling-block puzzle game published by Nintendo for the NES, based on Alexey Pajitnov’s original. Tetromino pieces of seven shapes fall into a well; players move and rotate them to form complete horizontal lines, which clear and score points. The pace speeds up as the level rises, and the game ends when the stack reaches the top.
