The King of Fighters ’98: Dream Match Never Ends (subtitled The Slugfest internationally) is a 2D fighting game developed and published by SNK for the Neo Geo arcade (MVS) and home (AES) systems. The fifth series entry, it is a non-story “dream match” with 38 characters drawn from KOF ’94–’97. Players form three-fighter teams and choose Advanced or Extra modes.
