It’s funny how memory and nostalgia work, To this day I was sure I remembered playing simultaneous 2 player with my brother but there’s no denying it, this is only turn based 2 player. Its a kind of ironic that these kind of brawlers died out when the VS tournament fighter came onto the scene seeing as one earliest ‘vs’ fighting games was included here as a bonus mode. And boy is it bad!

Konami’s Castlevania trilogy is classic gaming personified! Truly great action platforming adventures controlling various incarnations of the Belmont family as they defeat various incarnations of Dracula and the evil hordes of Hell.

he basic premise of the game is to scale a tower. One tower per level, get from bottom to the top, simple right? Unfortunately what awaits you on each tower, is a host of confusing lifts, doorways, enemies, falling floor tiles etc…. Believe me when I say that making a mistake in this game is very very punishing, did I say there was a time limit? Well there is, and its not very forgiving.

Vi sarebbe stato perdonato se aveste pensato che dopo aver programmato un gioco terribile non sareste stati lasciati tornare per un altro tentativo? Beh, non la Acclaim, che ha ottenuto il via libera non per due, ma per tre giochi sui Simpson, ognuno dei quali è fondamentalmente peggiore del precedente. La parte centrale sembra il posto migliore per iniziare questa terribile trilogia, quindi eccoci qua!

Not sure if this is based on outside source material or an original concept from Capcom but either way Little Nemo is a cracker of a game and a true delight to discover. It shouldn’t come as much surprise to find quality from a studio like Capcom, nonetheless its always a treat to play a truly good game for the first time.

Having started somewhere comfortable, it was time to head in the opposite direction!
I was never a fan of the Addams Family. While I’m familiar enough with the characters to recognize them, its no surprise I never played this as a kid. Coming to it now, no nostalgia to cloud my judgement, my first impressions were simply…Oh God!

Where do I begin… never have I played a game with such crippling controls and such insanely unforgiving level design. This game is legendary among gamers as being one of the worst games ever made. I mean many who try it never even have the patience to make it past the first screen!
